The inscription appears to be:

Zufriedenheit ist mein Vergnügen
Ales andere las ich Liegen
Und Liebe die Zufriedenheit

Although Charles Huber (her son) indicates "Das andre lasz ich liegen"

This appears to be from a German folk song, Zufriedenheit ist mein Vergnügen (Satisfaction is my Pleasure), of which the actual words are:

Zufriedenheit ist mein Vergnügen
das andere laß ich alles liegen
ich liebe die Zufriedenheit

which translates to:

Contentment (satisfaction) is my pleasure
I let all the others lie
I love contentedness
