Various newspaper accounts from 16 June to 19 June 1925 from The Daily Gazette (Sterling and Rock Falls, Illinois), Dallas Morning News (Texas), The Gettysburg Times (Pennsylvania), New Castle News (Pennsylvania), St. Petersburg Time (Florida). and Schenectady Gazette (New York). Three of these accounts name Caroline (nee Dumroese) Mroch as one of the victims.

Note the time on the monument (3:25 a.m.); it does not match the Interstate Commerce Commission's official report (2:25 a.m.). It does match Edgar Haine's book. See both of those in this album.

Caroline (nee Dumroese) Mroch was killed in this accident. This is the Hazen Road crossing in Warren County, New Jersey (circa 2005) where the storm washed the rock and gravel that caused the derailment.
