    • Lisabeth Robinson — Granby, Colo. – Lisabeth “Beth” Kasten Robinson of Granby, Colo., passed away Thursday, Aug. 28, 2008, in Denver. She was born July 9, 1951, in Freeport, and graduated from Freeport High School in 1969. Beth attended Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa. After college, she moved to Minneapolis, Minn., and then to Colorado. On Sept. 21, 1991, Lisabeth and Pete Robinson were married at Horsetooth Reservoir in Fort Collins, Colo. Beth worked at various restaurants through her life, and most recently at Mavericks in Granby. She loved to travel, go to the beach, go swimming and boating, and had a passionate love of books and reading.

      Beth especially loved all her friends and family. She will be truly missed by all who knew her. Surviving Beth are her husband, Pete; her parents, L.H. “Luke” and Jean Kasten, Vern and Shirley Lewis; her stepchildren, Amy Cordova and her husband, Henry, Robin Smith and her husband, Jason, Michael Robinson and his wife, Michelle, Mary Beth Ferguson and her husband, Travis, and Lyndee Kemp and her husband, David; her brothers, Dan Kasten and his wife, Sue, and Jon Kasten; her two nieces, Lani and Hanna Kasten; three grandsons and five granddaughters; and many godchildren.

      Memorial services were held Sept. 3 at Silvercreek Lodge in Granby. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Grand County Pet Pals Inc., P.O. Box 1972, Granby CO 80446. Arrangements were under the care and direction of Foran-Schoenfeld Mortuary in Hot Sulphur Springs, Colo.
