On the back of this painting, Roger wrote "Old Arrow Top, Pecunnie Brave Smoking Stone Pipe, Northwest Territory. Painted by Roger F. Hill March of 1974, Freeport, Ill. Comomorating [sic] the 200th birthday of our nation. 1776 till 1976."

Now in the possession of Rhoda Lee (nee Dumroese) Fink. Rhoda's son's (Chris) father-in-law, Gerald Woker, knew this painting was hanging in the lumberyard in Pearl City, Illinois. When he found out Roger was related to Rhoda, he brought it to her. At the lumberyard, they affectionately called this Indian "The Big Chief."

Something is written in the "disabled" box but I cannot make it out.
